Prepare your stay in Aussois: services, practical information and advice for a successful mountain vacation

BEFORE YOUR STAY:


What does the rental price include?
The price of your rental includes the rent, rental charges (heating, hot water, cold water, electricity), It does not include the tourist tax (from €1 to €1.80 per night and per person > 18 years old), the administration fees (€17), the cancellation insurance (optional) and the deposit (€300-500 depending on the size of the apartment).

When do I have to pay for my stay?
For rental confirmation, we ask you for a 25% deposit as well as the payment of the administration fees and cancellation insurance. The balance is due 30 days before the start of your stay. In the event that you make your reservation less than a month before your arrival, we will ask you to pay the total amount of the stay at the time of booking.

What payment methods are accepted?
You can pay with your bank card (except American Express) online via our secure reservation system, but also by French check (payable to Agence Immobilière de Haute Maurienne), transfer or cash.

If I have to cancel my stay, what happens?
Any cancellation must be notified to us in writing as soon as possible (by post or email).
In the event that you have not taken out cancellation insurance, the costs are:
•    from booking to d – 30 = 25% of the total amount
•    29 to 15 days before arrival = 50% of the total amount
•    14 to 7 days before arrival = 75% of the total amount
•    less than 7 days before arrival = 100% of the total amount

If you have taken out cancellation insurance, the file will be sent to the insurance company and they will process the cancellation, according to the conditions provided.

How do I add additional services or benefits to my reservation?
Aussois Immobilier offers you a number of additional services (rental of sheets, towels, baby equipment, end-of-stay cleaning, etc.) as well as the purchase of services (6-day ski passes, Summer Activity Pass, etc.).
To add them to your reservation, simply log in to your customer area and add them to your file.

 

DURING MY STAY:


Where should I pick up the keys on the day of arrival?
We'll be waiting for you at the Résidence des Sports (next to the tobacconist's). You'll find the address in your rental confirmation, which you'll receive upon payment of your deposit.
Our offices are open Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Rentals begin no later than 4:00 p.m., however, we encourage you to visit the agency upon arrival to identify yourself.

What should I do if I arrive outside opening hours?
In case of late arrival, you must contact the agency before 6 p.m. so that we can explain the procedure for collecting your keys.

How can I prepare for my arrival without stress?
To optimize your arrival in our mountains, we recommend that you bring special equipment for your vehicle (snow chains or tire socks) and practice installing them before your departure. Also remember to have a flashlight and a pair of gloves handy in case you need to install snow chains at night.

What is the deposit for?
Upon arrival, you will be asked for a security deposit of €300 to €500. This deposit is payable upon key collection, by check or credit card pre-authorization, but will not be debited. The security deposit is a guarantee against possible damage for which you are responsible. It ranges from €300 to €500 depending on the apartment.
After your departure, and following inspection of the apartment by our teams, checks are destroyed and card imprints are canceled.
 
Is there an inventory of the apartment?
The apartment is provided with the necessary furniture, equipment, and utensils for the number of people accepted, and will be inspected before your arrival.
However, upon arrival, you must check the condition of the property and report any defects within 24 hours. We will inspect the apartment after your departure. In the event of damage, the cost of repairing equipment or furniture, or cleaning required due to the condition in which you left the premises, will only be deducted from the security deposit after providing proof of liability. The security deposit amount does not limit your liability.
 
Are pets allowed?
Unless otherwise stated in the apartment description, pets are welcome in our apartments (maximum one per apartment).

How does the end of the stay take place?
We ask that you vacate your apartment no later than 10:00 a.m. on the morning of your departure and return the keys to the Agency. Your accommodations must be left clean and tidy, with dishes washed and put away, the refrigerator emptied and cleaned, the trash cans emptied, blankets folded and put away, and floors cleaned.
Unless you have requested an end-of-stay cleaning service, we only ask that you wash the dishes, take out the trash, and strip your beds to facilitate the cleaning team's work.
